Please join us for our 5th annual gathering of families and friends, as we remember the babies who will live always in our hearts. There is no advance registration for this year's walk. Please simply extend an invitation to your family and friends to join us on this special day. Walking and gathering together, we make a statement to the world that our babies still matter, and that we are families still. The more people we have, the louder our voices will speak.
Time: Saturday, May 7, 2011. Registration will be at 11am; a walk through the park will begin at 11:30am, with family picnic to follow. (Desserts will be provided, but please bring your own lunch.)
Location: Duck Brook Shelter at Look Park, on Route 9 in Leeds, MA. (The entrance fee for the park will be waived when you mention your participation in the Empty Arms Walk.)
T-Shirts: You and your family and friends can order shirts displaying the name(s) of your baby or babies. T-shirts must be ordered by April 15 and will be supplied to you on the morning of the walk. Please click here to download a t-shirt order form.
Donations: Gifts of any amount will be gratefully accepted on the day of the walk. Proceeds will benefit the Empty Arms Support Group at Cooley Dickinson Hospital, and support outreach in the Pioneer Valley to improve care and reduce isolation for grieving families.
